Woman's Missionary Union

  • Meets each Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Gibson Care Center

  • WMU ladies promote 3 missions a year with church donations:
    In the Spring (Easter)- Annie Armstrong (North American Missions)
    In September- Mary Hill Davis (Texas Missions)
    For Christmas- Lottie Moon (International Missions)

Children's Ministry

  • Children's Sermon available during the Sunday morning service

  • Awana Program meets every Wednesday at 6:45 PM- 7:45 PM

    • Puggles: Ages 2-3

    • Cubbies: Preschool

Eunice Chambliss Hospitality House

  • A Christian ministry that provides lodging for up to forty people while visiting family members in the French-Robertson Prison Unit.
    Hospitality Housing needs are collected during the month of May for the busy summer visitations.

Community Ministries

  • Stonewall County Food Pantry helps families on a monthly basis.
    Food is delivered to the Food Pantry Monthly

    • FBC Church Members help unload boxes of food from the delivery truck to the Stonewall County Food Pantry.

    • Our FBC furnishes monthly, such items as bars of soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other hygiene items.

    • Church Members collect "cents-off" coupons to be delivered with food items

  • The First Baptist Church of Aspermont holds afternoon church services once a month at 4 p.m. at the Gibson Care Center

    • A song service and devotional are provided

  • The First Baptist Church of Aspermont is a member of the Stonewall County Ministerial Alliance

    • On a monthly basis our church provides a meal (pizza), soft drinks, and devotional for the Junior High and High School Christian in Action (CIA) students.

  • The First Baptist Church of Aspermont annually sponsors a Senior Class Graduation Supper with food, games, and a devotional.

  • The First Baptist Church of Aspermont furnishes meals for the bereaved in our community.

    • Comfort Food for the bereaved is a ministry for the ladies of First Baptist Church.

  • From June through September of each year the Church furnishes school supplies for Crossing Borders (Grade School, Junior High, and High School) students in Mexico.

  • In November- December of 2010, the Church collected 40 boxes for Operation Christmas Child, a world mission, to supply socks, gloves, dental hygiene, books, and toys.
